Why do humans love cats so much?
I found the reason on google like this:
They (cat) make us smile and warm our hearts with their playful antics. They play till they’re exhausted then jump into our laps to win our hearts with their bright eyes and soothing purrs.
Research has proven that petting a cat causes a release of the “love hormone” in humans. The technical term for this neurochemical is oxytocin, a hormone that is released when people fall in love. Oxytocin has also been proven to increase your emotional perception!
Because of that, I tried to make a sketch of a cat, that maybe can make the heart felling warm when people see it.
So, i questioning myself: “What kind of cat behavior that looks so adorable?”
And I find one activity that is so adorable, which is when a cat plays with his toys!
One of the things I want to describe is, when a cat is playing with a yarn ball and it ends up getting tangled in the yarn itself. That of course will look ridiculous to some people, and I feel like I should be able to describe the cuteness!
So, i made this:
I made it by combining 44 images and combining them with the stopmotion method, and make it into a story with a narrative that also made by myself.
I’m not illustrator or graphic designer, i just drawing this for fun, to make my brain keep creative and more creative than before. I realized that being creative doesn’t come easily, but must be encouraged to work hard to be able to continue to think creatively.
